There are five golf courses in Lake Havasu City. You can pick from a 9-hole course near the Bridgewater Channel or an executive course on the island where you are surrounded by beautiful Lake Havasu. What is your skill level. Champion golfer or novice.
The folks at the courses are as nice and accommodating as can be. You can book lessons, join a group or play a tournament. There is something for everyone. While your golfing you can take in the beautiful sights and have a meal at any of the courses. There are restaurants galore in all surrounding areas. You can play at the top rated golf resort, Refuge Golf course and Resort. There are three more courses in the tri-state area. The world renown Emerald Canyon course in Parker which is 37 miles away.
What can I tell you about golfing in the area. Emerald Canyon is an amazing desert golf course in Parker. It is about 35 minutes from here. You can plan to loose a lot of golf balls but its an outstanding and fun course. All the folks who work at the course are so nice and helpful. There is a couple spots where you travel under the highway to the next part of the course. Really crazy in the middle of the desert.
North Lake Havasu City is where you will find the Refuge Golf Course in a gated community. They do allow the general public to play there. This is yet another phenomenal course. You might see Javelina, burros, rabbits, many species of birds; Roadrunners everywhere. Oh and of course the coyote is after them! 😀
How about just being out on the driving range looking out over the lake. What could be more relaxing than concentrating on that little ball. Come on out and find a course to take your cares away. Mindfulness at its best.
